Artificial Turf Hire Melbourne for Events of Any Scale
Artificial turf hire Melbourne is one of the most practical flooring decisions an event manager can make. Green underfoot, visually cohesive, and immediately recognisable as a deliberate design choice. Concrete disappears. The space starts to feel vibrant.
At Synthetic Grass Hire Melbourne, we supply artificial turf hire Melbourne and regional Victoria. Corporate activations, major sporting precincts, festival grounds, film sets, trade shows. The job changes but the product requirement stays the same: a premium rental turf that installs quickly, holds up under heavy foot traffic, and comes back out cleanly when the event wraps.
What Artificial Grass Hire Melbourne Actually Involves
Artificial grass hire Melbourne isn’t just dropping rolls on a floor. The site matters. A rooftop terrace is a different job to a flat concrete car park at ground level. A large install for a multi-day festival is a different brief to a same-day corporate pop-up activation.
We do a site assessments before most jobs. That means checking the surface, understanding access, and confirming the installation window. We use temporary adhesives and exhibition-approved joining tape that bond the turf firmly without leaving residue on your base surface. Post-event, we return to collect and pack down.
Our stock is 4-metre wide rolls in 30mm to 40mm pile heights. The pile is a three-tone fibre blend that reads as natural in photos and holds its appearance across multi-day events without matting.
Coloured Synthetic Grass Hire
For brand activations and major events we also offer premium coloured synthetic grass. This hire product is 23mm pile height and is available in 12 different colours; Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Baby Blue, Purple, Pink, Gravel, Black, Grey, White.
Who Uses Artificial Turf Hire in Melbourne
Corporate marketing teams and experiential agencies use artificial turf for brand activations and product launches where the floor needs to photograph well. Event precincts use it to soften large hard-surface areas and create distinct hospitality zones. Production companies use it on film and television sets. Exhibition organisers use it to make booth spaces stand out without permanent flooring commitments. Whether your team calls it artificial turf, fake turf hire, or astro turf hire, the needs are usually the same: a clean, photo-ready floor that goes down fast and comes up without a trace.
The common thread is that all of these clients need a supplier who can deliver at short notice and handle the logistics without needing to be managed.
Coverage and Scale
We carry enough artificial turf hire Melbourne to cover large areas in a single deployment. Jobs range from smaller 100sqm – 200sqm corporate spaces through to multi-thousand square metre event precincts. Bigger jobs don’t cost proportionally more. The travel, crew and logistics have a fixed cost regardless of whether we’re laying 100sqm or 1,000sqm, and that’s reflected in how we quote.
If you’re unsure of your area, a rough estimate is fine, however a site map is normally preferred. We’ll work through the detail with you.
Short Lead Times
The events industry runs on tight schedules. Turf hire is often one of the last things confirmed on a site plan, which means suppliers who can’t respond quickly aren’t much use. If stock is available, we can turn around most jobs with minimal lead time. Contact us with your event date and site details and we’ll confirm availability and pricing directly.
